Please help us in keeping everyone safe and healthy!

New Hospital

We know many of you have concerns regarding COVID-19. First of all, please know that Copper View is open for business. However as veterinarians part of the oath we take is to promote and protect the health of the public. With that in mind we are implementing the following protocols:

CURBSIDE CHECK-IN AND DISCHARGE:
When you arrive for your appointment please call the front desk at 801-753-1165 and let us know you are here and what parking stall you are in. One of our technicians will call you and get a history over the phone. They will then come out to your car to bring your pet inside. After the doctor has done their exam, they will call to talk with you about a treatment plan. We will ask you to call the hospital to take care of payment over the phone, and you can schedule any needed follow up appointments at the at time as well.

Please make sure you bring your cats in a carrier. For their safety, we will not take cats from your car without them being secured in a carrier. We have cardboard carriers available for purchase if needed.

TELEMEDICINE
We have the ability to easily conduct telemedicine appointments. Download the TeleVet app for free, register with your pet’s information and request an appointment. One of our doctors will chat with you through the app. You can send pictures and videos. If we need to see your pet for further diagnostics we will arrange a time for you to bring them in, and there will not be an additional exam charge. The TeleVet app can be downloaded in the App Store under TeleVet - Remote Pet Care.

DISINFECTING
We always keep our hospital clean and disinfected. However have stepped up our efforts with hourly wipe downs of frequently touched surfaces such as countertops, door handles, chairs, keyboards and phones.

MEDICATION REFILLS
If you need a refill on a medication, please call ahead to request the refill as usual. When it is ready to pick up, please call from your car and we will take payment over the phone and bring it out to you. You may also consider using our online pharmacy to have your pet’s medications or prescription food delivered right to your home. You can find the link below.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO HELP

If you are ill or have been in close contact with anyone who has been ill, please postpone your visit if it is not urgent. If your pet does need urgent care, consider using our telemedicine option or call our office and let us know and we can discuss the best plan of action.

We are taking these measures to protect our clients and staff. We will keep you updated with this ever evolving situation. Please contact us with any questions or concerns.
