    Dr. Nathan Stefanoff
    Owner/Head Veterinarian

Dr. Stefanoff was raised in the small town of Delta, Utah.  He was raised on a family farm, where he developed a strong love and appreciation for animals. During high school and college he worked with the veterinarian of his home town, who inspired him to pursue a career in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Stefanoff attended Utah State University and earned a bachelors degree in Bio-Veterinary Science with a minor in Chemistry. He graduated from Colorado State University earning his doctorate degree in veterinary medicine in 2006. After veterinary school, Dr. Stefanoff completed an internship at a very busy referral and emergency animal hospital in Mesa Arizona. The internship was a great learning experience with an emphasis in internal medicine and surgery.

Dr. Stefanoff has many hobbies most of which involve animals. He loves the out doors and spending time with his family, many of whom live in the Herriman/Riverton area. Dr. Stefanoff primarily works with dogs and cats however, also enjoys working with small mammals and reptiles.

    Dr. Rebecca Y. Amesbury
    Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Rebecca Y. Amesbury was born and raised in the agricultural community of  Gilroy, California (known as the Garlic Capital of the World). She always planned on being a veterinarian when she grew up. She worked at veterinary clinics in Gilroy and Hollister, CA after high school and her appreciation for a variety of animals was enhanced by the patients themselves and co-workers.

Dr. Amesbury graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Bio-Veterinary Science (with minors in biology, chemistry and Spanish). She spent 18 months in Santiago, Chile as an LDS missionary before attending Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. While attending veterinary school, she worked as a small animal surgery on-call technician. She also worked in a research laboratory, dealing with monoclonal antibodies and Johne's Disease. She graduated with her doctorate in 2007, and spent 4 years practicing veterinary medicine at a busy five-doctor small animal practice in Spokane, Washington. Preventative medicine, internal medicine and soft tissue surgery skills were some of her areas of emphasis.

Dr. Amesbury, her husband (Brian), sons (Porter, Preston, & Thatcher), daughter (Cambria), and their Sphynx cat, Maynard, relocated to Utah in September of 2011. They enjoy nature, music, literature, and spending time with family and friends. Dr. Amesbury enjoys all types of animals, although she has focused her medical practice on dogs and cats.

    Dr. Hope Teyler
    Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Hope Teyler was raised in the small town of Alamosa, Colorado. She decided in the 8th grade that she wanted to be a veterinarian, and never wavered from that course. As a senior in high school she was awarded Colorado State University's Vet Start Scholarship which allowed her to be admitted to veterinary school after completing 3 years of undergraduate work at Colorado State.

Dr. Teyler earned her doctorate degree from CSU in 2004. After veterinary school she practiced outside Palm Springs, CA for 3 years before relocating to a practice in Park City, UT. In 2011, she took a job as the Resident Veterinarian at Broadview University, veterinary technician school, for the West Jordan, UT campus. Dr. Teyler joined Copper View in 2014 as a relief veterinarian and came on as a full time associate in 2015.

Dr. Teyler's special interests as a veterinarian include dentistry, soft tissue surgery, and feline medicine. She adores both dogs and cats, but has a particular passion for improving the overall veterinary experience for felines.

Dr. Teyler lives in Salt Lake with her fiancee, Mark, and their 4 cats- Sally, Jon Snow, Rhaegar, and Tormund. She enjoys playing the piano, swimming, fishing, and gardening.

    Dr. Vanessa Davis
    Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Vanessa Davis grew up all over the country in Maryland, Oklahoma, and Oregon. Her pathway to veterinary medicine began with her love of all animals, but especially horses, and she has spent many happy hours on horseback. After living for many years in the rainy Pacific Northwest, she relocated to Utah in 2017 to enjoy sunshine, snow, and four seasons.

Dr. Davis attended Brigham Young University and earned a bachelor’s degree in Animal and Veterinary Science. She attended veterinary school at Oregon State University and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. While at veterinary school, she worked in a research lab studying NMDA receptors in the brain, and their role in memory and aging. Following graduation, Dr. Davis spent a year in a busy mixed animal practice treating dogs and cats, then driving all over the countryside to treat farm animals. She spent the next seven years in small animal general and emergency practice. Her areas of special interest are animal behavior, internal medicine, and soft tissue surgery. A low-stress, positive experience is her goal for each patient and client she sees in the clinic.

When not practicing veterinary medicine, Dr. Davis spends time with her husband (Keith), and three children (Kaitlyn, Gavin, and Trenton). She enjoys running, camping, riding bikes, reading, hiking, and baking. She also loves her fur babies- 2 cats named Oreo and Coal.
